On October 15, 2017 just before 8:00 p.m. Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to University Health Hospital on reports of 19-year-old Cameron Lee, of the 5600 block of Kent Avenue, arriving at the emergency room with at least one stab wound to the torso. Officers learned that the Lee was in serious condition and was immediately taken into surgery but later succumbed to his injuries.
Officers were able to locate the crime scene at a residence in the 5600 block of Kent Avenue. Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit were called to the scene and immediately began their investigation. Investigators learned that Lee had a visitor arrive at his residence just before the stabbing. The visitor, who was wearing all black, was later seen running from the residence. Witnesses found the male victim and rushed him to University Health Hospital via private vehicle.
Investigators have released video footage of the person they believe responsible for the murder of Cameron Lee.
