Shreveport Police seek suspect in business burglary
Shreveport Police are asking the public’s help to identify a man believed responsible for the burglary of a business in south Shreveport back in late July.
On July 26, 2017, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to reports of an alarm at Anthony’s Steak and Seafood located at 7504 Mansfield Road. Officers arrived and discovered the front glass door of the business had been destroyed and a cash register, containing an undisclosed amount of money, missing from within the business.
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Property Crimes Investigation Unit were able to retrieve video footage of the alleged incident. The video shows what appears to be a white male forcibly entering the business and removing the register. A vehicle, believed to belong to the suspect, is captured on video as it arrives and departs from the business.
A cash reward will be paid by Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers for information leading to the identification and arrest of this individual. Please contact them 318-673-7373 or visit the organization’s website at Lockemup.org.
