A male suspect is being sought in connection with a burglary at a downtown church in east Shreveport after evidence of the crime is captured on camera.
Back on March 2, 2015, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to the First Methodist Church Day Care in the 800 block of Sprague Street relative to a burglary call. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who advised a male suspect allegedly entered the day care part of the church by breaking a window, and then rummaged around the building before fleeing the scene. The suspect’s actions were caught on surveillance video.
Shreveport Police investigators were advised of the incident and launched a subsequent investigation. Images from the crime have been released in efforts to identify and ultimately apprehend
