Police seek identity of burglary suspect

Shreveport Police detectives are asking the public’s help to identify the suspect believed responsible for a vehicle burglary that occurred in the 1700 block of East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop on May 29, 2019.

Investigators were able to secure video footage of the alleged suspect from the business and released it to the public in hopes of getting this individual identified.

Police search for two men connected with home invasion and robbery

Shreveport Police Violent Crimes investigators are asking the public’s help to identify and capture a pair of individuals following a home invasion earlier this month.

On April 14, 2019, just after midnight, two men entered the victim’s home, beat him, and robbed him of undisclosed items. Investigators were able to identify the man in red as 27-year-old John Pack of the 5600 block of South Lakeshore Drive. On April 18, 2019, warrants were procured for his arrest charging him with one count of Home Invasion and one count of Second Degree Robbery. His bond was set at $150,000.00. The second man in this video has not been identified. Investigators are asking anyone with information that can help them identify the man in the black hooded sweatshirt to contact Shreveport Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Police seek to identify car burglar

Shreveport Police are searching for a man believed responsible for car burglaries at an east Shreveport fitness center.

On November 13, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to the 3400 block of Knight Street, at the YMCA, on reports of vehicle burglaries. Arriving officers learned that the business was equipped with video surveillance cameras that captured the incidents.

Investigators with the Property Crimes Unit were assigned to the cases and were able to collect the video. They are releasing portions of the video along with photos in hopes of getting the suspect(s) identified.

Police seek to identify handle puller

Shreveport Police are asking the public’s help to identify a man caught on video attempting to burglarize a car in east Shreveport.

On October 22, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to the 3600 block of Fairfield Avenue on reports of an attempted vehicle burglary. The victim advised that her video surveillance system captured a suspect attempting to burglarize her car during the night. Her vehicle was properly secured so the suspect was unable to make entry but other vehicles in the area were burglarized.

Investigators with the Property Crimes Unit were assigned to the case and were able to obtain the video. They are releasing the video and photos in hopes of getting the individual identified. Vehicle burglar captured on camera

Shreveport Police are seeking to identify a man who was captured on video burglarizing a vehicle in north Shreveport.

On October 18, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to reports of a vehicle burglary in the 3200 block of Falcon Loop. The victim reported that she woke up and found that her vehicle had been burglarized during the night. Cash and other items were taken from within. The residence was equipped with a video surveillance system that captured the incident.

Investigators with the Property Crimes Unit were assigned to the case and were able to collect the video. They have released the video in hopes of getting the individuals responsible identified. The video shows what appears to be a man in a plaid shirt enter the vehicle and plunder the interior. Another individual can be seen in camera view, closer to the street.

Police seek identity of burglar

Shreveport Police are reaching out to the public in hopes of identifying a man captured on video burglarizing a north Shreveport business.

On September 30, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of Jack Wells Boulevard at Boxes for Less on reports of a business burglary. The business owner reported that the business had been forcibly entered and an undisclosed amount of money taken from within. The crime was captured on video and investigators have made portions of that video available to the public in hopes of getting information to help identify the person responsible for this crime.

Police ask public’s help to identify burglars

Shreveport Police are asking for help to identify a pair of bandits caught on video burglarizing a west Shreveport apartment complex.

On September 29, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to reports of a silent alarm in the 2600 block of Silver Pines Boulevard at the South Pointe Apartment Complex. Arriving officers found that the business had been forcibly entered, causing moderate damage. The property was equipped with a video surveillance system that captured the crime on video.

Investigators with the Property Crimes Unit were assigned to the case and were able to secure the video footage. Security cameras showed what appeared to be two males entering the business. One male appeared to be wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt, khaki pants, and light colored gloves and the other was wearing red shoes, black clothing, a camouflage cap, and black gloves.

Police ask help to identify home burglars

Shreveport Police are searching for two men who broke into an east Shreveport residence last week.

On November 21, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a home burglary in the 2600 block of Sevier Street. Arriving officers found the residence forcible entered and learned that a firearm and other undisclosed items were taken from within the residence. The home was equipped with video surveillance cameras that subsequently captured the crime on video. Investigators with the Property Crimes Unit were assigned to the case and collected the video. They have released the video in hopes that our neighbors can help us identify those responsible for this crime.

Police search for man accused of impersonating a law enforcement official

Shreveport Police are searching for a man who falsely identified himself as a law enforcement official following a traffic incident in north Shreveport.

On September 26, 2018, the victim advised that he was travelling along the 1300 block of North Market Street when he was flagged over by a black Dodge pickup. The white male driver of the vehicle exited and made contact with the driver advising him that he was a law enforcement officer and that the victim had cut him off. The white male suspect then pretended to check the victim for warrants. There was at least one other person in the suspect’s black truck. Following the encounter, the suspect got back into his truck and fled the scene.
