Police ask public’s help to identify burglars

Shreveport Police are asking for help to identify a pair of bandits caught on video burglarizing a west Shreveport apartment complex.

On September 29, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to reports of a silent alarm in the 2600 block of Silver Pines Boulevard at the South Pointe Apartment Complex. Arriving officers found that the business had been forcibly entered, causing moderate damage. The property was equipped with a video surveillance system that captured the crime on video.

Investigators with the Property Crimes Unit were assigned to the case and were able to secure the video footage. Security cameras showed what appeared to be two males entering the business. One male appeared to be wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt, khaki pants, and light colored gloves and the other was wearing red shoes, black clothing, a camouflage cap, and black gloves.
