Surveillance video released in a carjacking investigation (16-045736)

The Shreveport Police Department has released video from a local business’s surveillance cameras during an alleged carjacking that occurred in north Shreveport.

Back on March 15, 2016, two male suspects, armed with a handguns, jumped into the victim’s vehicle and made her go to the Capital One located in the 4600 block of Shreveport-Blanchard Highway. Once they arrived at the bank the suspects made the victim take out and undisclosed amount of money from the ATM. After taking the money, the suspects then stole the victim’s teal green 2008 Pontiac Torrance SUV and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim was unharmed in the incident.

Authorities anticipate the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect seen on camera upon release of the images and are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or www.lockemup.org Crime Stoppers will pay up to 500.00 for information leading to the arrest of the two suspects.
