A male suspect is being sought in connection with an attempted vehicle burglary in east Shreveport after evidence of the crime is captured on camera
Back on January 18, 2016, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a local night club in the 1000 block of Marshall Street relative to a vehicle burglary call. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect attempts to break into a car in the parking lot of Central Station Incorporated. The suspect attempted numerous times to gain entry to the vehicle, by throwing a brick at the passenger window. After breaking through the window, he tried to take a bag from inside the vehicle but was unsuccessful. Patrons from the business observed the suspect committing the crime and ran the suspect away.
Shreveport Police investigators were advised of the incident and launched a subsequent investigation. Images from the crime have been released in efforts to identify and ultimately apprehend the person responsible for the crime.
