A male and female suspect are being sought in connection with a shoplifting from an east Shreveport business after evidence of the crime is captured on camera.
Back on February 26, 2015, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to Belk’s Department Store in the 1700 block of East 70th Street relative to a shoplifting call. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male and female suspect walked into the business, grabbing numerous clothing items, valued at approximately $1200.00, off of a display table near an entrance/exit door, then fled the store with the merchandise. The suspect’s actions were caught on surveillance video.
Shreveport Police investigators were advised of the incident and launched a subsequent investigation. Images from the crime have been released in efforts to identify and ultimately apprehend the person responsible for the crime.
